ECEC Good News

St Mary's | Early Childhood Education

This week we received the great news that ECEC now has its full licence restored to the centre!  There were 22 conditions that were placed on the centre to resolve, and our thanks to the staff who have put in extra time and energy to achieve this result.  The Ministry  commented “Well done to you and your team, it’s evident a lot of hard work, time and effort has gone in to meeting these conditions and there has been a number of positive shifts for the centre community”.    We have spaces available to welcome new enrolment’s,  so if you know of anyone looking for a pre-school care please encourage them to get in touch office@stmaryschildcare.org.nz

Giving

Giving — Connect Church | Christchurch

Thanks for your responses (and ongoing prayer) for funding Karori Anglican’s work.  We are encouraged by the faithful response of a number of the congregation already

We know that everyone’s circumstances are unique and commend your giving to prayerful consideration

“We had a conversation about giving and realised our thinking around giving had shifted. We feel that giving is part of our Christian walk – we give because we are part of God’s Kingdom, and not because we are seeking favour from God. It’s part of what being a Christian means to us, the way we live out our faith. Therefore we increased our giving. Following Ian’s recent sermon we also made an extra donation for the same reason.”  Annon Parishioner

Thank you so much for this, we appreciate you all very much

How Much Does a Playground Shade Cost? - Creative Shade Solutions

ECEC is making improvements to its environment, including replacing the worn shade sails that the children play under in the sand pit, construction table and water pit. They have worn through with wires now protruding! At just over $8,000 to replace the two shade sails, we would love it if you would consider donating towards the cost of these replacements. If you are able to support this work, please donate to Karori Anglican Church (then you will be able to receive a tax receipt) using ref ECEC Sail in your payment details.
