Our Vision

Te Korōria supports whānau and serve our community. We have are created a hospitality space, an indoor play zone for kids, whānau counseling, a space for our young people to connect with youth leaders, and a traffic-free courtyard.  A place to relax,  be yourself, and to connect with others.  Co-located on the same site as our afterschool care service SMASH, and our Early Childhood centre we are expanding the ways in which we support whānau in our ever-changing world.

We have nearly reached our fundraising goal and need just a bit more to finish the fit-out of the building and enable us to be debt free.  You can donate online by following the steps below.

Latest News

  • Te Korōria opened to the public on the 15th July 2023
  • The building is called Te Korōria,  (which means “The Glory”).
  • We operate a not-for-profit Cafe and Soft play from the space, service conter food, a short menu which is beind developed over time.   Visit the cafe website tekororia.org.nz
  • Please support us through making a donation towards the fit out costs.  We are nearly at our fundraising goal and very thankful for all the donations to date.  We are now  fundraising to enable us to be debt free.      Please consider if you are able to support us – any amount makes a difference!
  • Resource consent was received in late April 2020,   Building Consent was received in September 2021
  • Choice Construction were our construction company and Studio Pacific are our Architects and together we have created a fantastic space to serve the community from.
  • We are providing counselling services from purpose designed rooms in partnership with Mind Health.  
  • We also intend to provide budgeting support through a partnership with CAP (Christians Against Poverty) money.
  • There is an amazing soft play area inside the building for kids aged under 11.  It is self contained and has multiple levels of play.  Images of the structure are available on our Facebook and Instagram feeds!
