Devotionals and Studies for House Churches

‘Keller is a very trustworthy applied theologian and pastor. His insight into scripture and its relevance to us today is on a par with NT Wright. A prolific writer and very good church leader, he has written this practical and challenging daily devotional for everyone to use with a focus what we can know about God’s ways. We are using it every day as staff in the office and thoroughly recommend it for House Church use and individual daily devotions. We currently have two copies in the church library able to be taken out.’ Rev. Ian Cook

Trail Mixers – our latest Parish Community! Starts 31st May at 9am

83+ Thousand Cartoon Hiking Royalty-Free Images, Stock Photos & Pictures | Shutterstock

Welcome to the Trail Mixers! A new group of keen trail walkers who want to walk and talk at the same time. Our first walk is coming up…. Saturday 31 May at 9am. We will meet at the Karori Park Pavilion and head off from there. Everyone is welcome and we aim to meet regularly on the last Saturday of every month. Worried you might not keep up? Don’t… No one will be left behind!
Our planned route this time is to walk up Wahine, turn right onto the Skyline, down Parkvale and back to Karori Park. In total it’s about 7km so approx 1.5 hours (+ extra for coffee and the social afterwards – which is why we do these things isn’t it?).
Everyone is welcome. Bring the right gear (proper footwear with grippy soles is essential) and we’ll go from there. If you think your dog will be a keen Trail Mixer too, they’re very welcome (and must be on a lead throughout).
No need to RSVP but if you need more information please speak to Yvette Michalska or James Dowle
Looking forward to you joining us and walking the trails.

Pray for 5 – Who Are You Praying For?

From April 6th till May 27th, we will have a focus on praying for 5 people to come to know Jesus. Choose 5 strands from the table in the gathering area and weave them together into a wrist band to remind you to pray.

Another great tool is the “Inner Room” that you can load on your phone – follow this link  – to find out more and download the app.

The Inner Room is a free prayer list app that turns your mobile phone into a place of prayer.  You can add reminders and a list of people to pray for throughout the day

We see this as a potential missional opportunity for our House Churches to pick up. If you feel led to please click here to download Holy Here
