This year’s AGM will be held on Monday, 27th March starting at 7pm. A electronic copy of the annual report can be found at this link. Hardcopies of the annual report will be available on Sunday for those who are not online – but we are working to minimise waste, so please consider using an e-version only.

From the 1 April, access to Infoodle on your computer will require two factor authentication.  This is a mandatory change infoodle is bringing in internationally to ensure data security (there is no work around!).

You will need to set this up to use Infoodle and you will need to have a smart phone and a computer to do this.

  1. Download the ‘Google Authenticator App’ from the app store on your phone.
  2. Logon to Infoodle on your computer and select set up your 2 -step authentication – you will be prompted to do this.
  3. Open the Google Authenticator App on your phone and scan the QR code that comes up on your computer screen
  4. Then when you log in from now on you will need to put in the 6 digit code that comes up on your phone’s authenticator app ( note this changes approx. every minute), as well as your password.

note you will need your smart phone and your computer every time you log in

The Infoodle App on your phone – If you use the infoodle app on your smart phone – make sure you are logged in before the 1 April.  Then you will not need to do two factor identification to access the information you can see in the app on your phone.

If you get stuck please contact the office, and we will help.  You can also email support@infoodle.com

We need help to clean up the old activity room (soon to be known as the Kowhai / Yellow Room), and the kitchen attached to it.  There are also some bits of painting and other jobs that need doing.  So please put it in your diary and if you can come for even an hour that would be great!   Clipboards will also be circulating at the services. Please put these dates in your diaries, let us know you can help by emailing office@karorianglican.org.nz

Within the next three weeks the interior of Te Korōria will be finished.  There is lots still to do outside,  and you will see for yourself the diggers in action working on the new car park area next to the church.  The soft play equipment arrived this week, along with three installers from Australia who are putting it together over the next two weeks.  The steel internal framing is currently going up, although we have hit a slight snag in that there has been some incorrect elements shipped to us (and colours of equipment) which we are currently resolving with the supplier.  It will be amazing when its up – its big!!

Photos above show the carpet which is down in the counselling rooms and the SMASH and ECEC offices, it looks fantastic.

Please do consider a further donation to Te Korōria this March.  I was encouraged to receive a Gift List brochure completed and returned this week – these are available on Sunday and at the AGM.  We do still need donations to enable us to really make this building look amazing, a gift and blessing  to the community.  Choose something that gives you joy – maybe you want to contribute to a coffee machine, maybe it’s the sound system?!  Large of small, every dollar makes a difference, and is so important as we hit these last few weeks of the project.

Thank you to everyone who helps at our services, from welcoming to morning tea, many hands make light work!  Our rosters until the end of June are now available through infoodle, or you can see them posted at the notice board in the gathering area.

Please note that due to the current resurgence of COVID among our community we will be offering communion by one element only (wafers) for the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, we have had some technical issues with our sermon recordings and making them available on the website. We are working on it and will let you know when they are up and running again.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything.’ Matt 5:13
