Trail Mixers – Saturday 25th – Invite your friends! 

We’ll be meeting at the Karori Park Pavillion at 8.45am for a 9am departure. Please be aware you will need to have above average fitness for this walk.  Be sure to wear sturdy shoes suitable for muddy and uneven terrain, and dress in layers to stay comfortable with the weather. Bring along water and some food for the trip too.

Fish and Chips Night

Fish and Chips night is back! Lock in Friday the 14th of November for a night of great conversations, an easy meal and fun for the kids. Click here for the order form

New Wine Early Bird Deal!

Book and pay before the 30th of November to get the deal
New Wine Festival 26 is the 15th -19th January, Wairarapa College.
Usually 30-50 of us go as a church whānau, some camp, some stay in dorms and we cater food together. There are great speakers, we spend lots of time hanging out, go to workshops, listening to talks and worship together.
Please let the office know if you sign up to come so we can include you in catering plans – There will also be a clipboard available on Sunday for sign ups.

Lawn Mowing Team 

We are in need of some more members to join our lawn mowing team. Equipment is provided and the more team members we have the easier it is to spread the load. The frequency will depend on the season, but you will generally be needed 30 minutes every 2 weeks. 

If you are keen to help out please email gill@karorianglican.org.nz – he is able to provided a short training session if you would like.

Susanne Ames, our trainee counsellor still has some free spaces till the end of the year. If you would like to book a session or have any questions please email counselling@tekororia.org.nz

Youth Weekend Away

📅 28th – 30th November, Camp Kaitoke

The cost is around $160 per child (TBC) with a $20 deposit to sign up. Please don’t let cost be a barrier—just have a chat with Ben and we’ll make sure support is available.

The camp will be led by Paul Humphries, alongside our KA leaders: Ben, Jasmine, Kimberli, and Jack.

Youth – The Collective

Friday 24th October 6pm. It is a little known fact that the German pirate Stortebeker made it all the way to Aotearoa because he confused the Dutch province Zeeland with New Zealand. Join us as we set out to find the treasure he left behind.

Friday 31st October 6pm. It’s Reformation Day aka Halloween and what do you do on Halloween apart from remembering the dead. Watch a Horror Movie.
